Semarang (1/11), A proud achievement at the international level was successfully achieved by students of Diponegoro University (Undip) Semarang who were involved in the Capture Project Team. This time, this proud achievement was achieved by Pranata Candra Perdana Putra (Capture Fisheries, 2019), Zahwatul Ulla (Capture Fisheries, 2019), Tegar Indera Hidayat (Capture Fisheries, 2020), students of the Faculty of Fisheries and Marine Sciences with Fauzan Rafi Miraj (Elector Engineering, 2019), Akhrim Oktaviano (Elector Engineering, 2019), Muhammad Naufal Azizi (Mechanical Engineering, 2019) students of the Faculty of Engineering, and Cindy Nurochmah (English Literature, 2019) students of the Faculty of Cultural Sciences who successfully won silver medals in the agriculture, livestock, horticulture, aquaculture, and fisheries categories at the Indonesia Inventors Day 2022 event at Udayana University, Bali.

Indonesia Inventors Day 2022 is an event organized by the Indonesian Invention and Innovation Promotion Association (INNOPA). INNOPA is an association engaged in development and innovation in Indonesia. INNOPA was formed as a liaison for Indonesian innovators in showcasing their innovative ideas and products to the international level.

The Capture Project team made a prototype of a portable fish-calling device that uses three types of tractors, namely sound, light, and coconut leaves. The use of this attractor is adjusted to the behavior of the target fish, so it is expected to increase the catch of fishermen. The Capture Project team hopes that this tool can be developed in such a way that it can be used as well as possible by fishermen.

The achievements achieved by the Capture Project Team cannot be separated from the support and assistance of Mr. Kukuh Eko Prihantoko, S.Pi., M.Si as their supervisor. Various guidance and evaluations are carried out so that students are able to reach top positions in various fields, especially the field of Research. Congratulations to the Capture Project Team for winning the Indonesia Inventors Day 2022 competition and staying excited to participate in the next competitions. (edit by Capture Project UNDIP)
