An Outstanding Student Selection (PILMAPRES) event has been held at the Department of Capture Fisheries level. This activity was attended by Mr. Dr. Abdul Kohar Mudzakir, S.Pi., M.Si., Mr. Faik Kurohman, S.Pi., M.Si., Bogi Budi Jayanto, S. Pi., M. Si., and Mr. Hendrik Anggi Setyawan, S.Pi., M.Si. as a lecturer and also a judge in the selection of Mapping Party Students and also Bachelors at the 2021 Capture Fisheries Department level. The candidates in the Mapping Party Students are Izzatun Nuha, Zena Amanda D, and Annisaa Zalza as students of the 2019 Capture Fisheries Department. And Undergraduate Students with a single candidate, namely Ardiansyah Bakti Laksono as a student of the 2018 Capture Fisheries Department. This PILMAPRES is carried out to determine outstanding students at the department level who will later be used as department representatives to continue to the Faculty PILMAPRES and even the University level PILMAPRES.
In the selection carried out at the PILMAPRES level of the Department of Capture Fisheries, it starts from the data collection of prospective participants who will take part in the PILMAPRES. Then there is a selection of files, which include CV, TOEFL Test Results, KTM, KTP, Creative Ideas, Summary of Creative Ideas in English, and PPT of Creative ideas. The next selection is the stage of presentation of creative ideas that have been made by candidates in the Departmental Level PILMAPRES, which was previously preceded by self-introduction using English.
After passing a series of selections, names were obtained from Outstanding Students both Mapping and Bachelor at the Department of Capture Fisheries who will continue at the Faculty Level PILMAPRES stage. The 2021 Capture Fisheries Department Level Mapping Achievement Student is Zena Amanda Devina and the 2021 Capture Fisheries Department Level Undergraduate Outstanding Student is Ardiansyah Bakti Laksono.
